Spyhole is a thriller film about voyeurism. 
This film was derived from my personal life experience. When I used to live in an apartment, I liked to see what was happening in the hallway through the spyhole, which was also a kind of voyeurism to some extent. And this got me thinking about current social situation. That is in today's highly developed network and information technology, peeping into others' privacy has become a new way of life. And while we are peeping at others, others are also peeping at us, and may unintentionally leads us to our life danger.
In the mean time, I want the audience to break away from the traditional way of portraying characters in the film and explore the psychological reactions of viewers after their voyeurism is discovered through direct contact with the characters in the film.

About the Project

Our team is mainly composed of me, my teacher and also my executive director Hanzong Tian , director of photography and lighting Zhongchao Liu, and three leading actors, Wencang Liu, Ziwen Wang, Fuyi Zhuang .
As a first-time director, I learned a lot from the crew members in the process of shooting this film, so I am very grateful to every member of our crew.

About the Team

Spyhole is a thriller film about voyeurism. It’s about a husband returning home from work unexpectedly discovered that his wife was cheating. Under the dispute between the two parties, the lover accidentally injured the husband with a vase. The angry husband picked up the fragments on the ground and brutally attacked the lover and the wife. And all of this was clearly visible through the spyhole by the people inside the door.
